I wrote a screenplay! It didn't win a competition, not even close. It's only been read by probably 4 people total. But I'm so proud of it. A story popped in my head about three young teens that meet at a summer retreat with their families. How do you feel before high school? What happens when you bring your problems with you on vacation? Have you ever made best friends that you'll proabbly never see again? This script felt cathartic and comforting to write, and I'm so proud that I finished it and shared it with others. Maybe it will have a 2nd life. Maybe not, and I'll move on. But for now, it gets a little blurb on my website for being a finished piece of art.
